Sahara Sponsors Carnival for Autism
BOUNTIFUL —Sahara, Inc., a construction management and design/build firm, held it’s 2nd annual Autumn Carnival for Autism in Salt Lake City last weekend. Over 70 children with autism attended with their families. Dozens of volunteers were on hand to assist the children at Liberty Park.
“This is an event that we look forward to all year. Numerous Sahara associates have been affected by autism and we want to do something to help these special little children in our community,” Lisa Ridges, Public Relations Manager for Sahara, said. “It’s a great opportunity for parents to network and discuss resources that our area has to offer.”
If anyone would like to contribute to the 2007 Autumn Carnival for Autism or be included in the mailing list for next year, please email to lridges@sahara1.com.
Sahara recently celebrated its 20-year anniversary and has been awarded many honors over its history, including being recognized as an Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Company and being named Contractor of the Year in 2003 by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
