Sahara, Inc. Completes West Bountiful’s New City Hall

BOUNTIFUL — Sahara, Inc. recently constructed the new city hall for West Bountiful City. A building dedication and open house was held last week to give the public an opportunity to tour the new facility.

At 12,500 s.f., this municipal building includes spaces for the West Bountiful City Police and the City Administration. The facility includes a 60-person council chambers, evidence storage areas, an exercise room, judges chambers and interview rooms with recording capabilities and a complete access control system. This was a design/ build project between Sahara, Inc. and MHTN Architects.

Known for fast track, design/build projects with aggressive schedules, Sahara, Inc. has been an industry leader and pioneer in design/build and construction management projects throughout the western United States since 1985. Sahara has managed a wide variety of challenging and innovative development and construction projects, including the Salt Lake City Delta Center arena as well as the $110 million Jordan Commons project in Sandy, Utah.

Sahara celebrates its 20th year anniversary this month and has been awarded many honors over its 20 year history, including being included as an Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Company and being named Contractor of the Year in 2003 by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
