Sahara, Inc. Breaks Ground on Herriman Retail Center

BOUNTIFUL — On Tuesday, Sahara Inc. broke ground on a new retail center in Herriman, Utah. Located at 5600 West 13150 South in Herriman, this retail development will include Checker Auto, Utah Central Credit Union, Jiffy Lube, several restaurants, a coffee shop, a large craft store, and other businesses that will provide services to the Herriman community.

Known for fast track, design/build projects with aggressive schedules, Sahara, Inc. has been an industry leader and pioneer in design/build and construction management projects throughout the western United States since 1985. Sahara has managed a wide variety of challenging and innovative development and construction projects, including the Salt Lake City Delta Center arena as well as the $110 million Jordan Commons project in Sandy, Utah.

Sahara celebrates its 20th year anniversary this year and has been awarded many honors over its 20 year history, including being included as an Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Company and being named Contractor of the Year in 2003 by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
