Sahara Awarded Destination Homes Office Building Project

BOUNTIFUL — Sahara Inc. was awarded the contract to build the Destination Homes Office Building in Layton, Utah.

The new 15,000 s.f. facility, designed by ASWN Architects, will be three-story, wood framed with brick veneer. The project is scheduled to break ground early next year with a June 2006 completion date.

Known for fast track, design/build projects with aggressive schedules, Sahara, Inc. has been an industry leader and pioneer in design/build and construction management projects throughout the western United States since 1985. Sahara has managed a wide variety of challenging and innovative development and construction projects, including the Salt Lake City Delta Center arena as well as the $110 million Jordan Commons project in Sandy, Utah.

Sahara celebrates its 20th year anniversary this year and has been awarded many honors over its history, including being included as an Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Company and being named Contractor of the Year in 2003 by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
